No. 114 Pair of Coral Nightstands

Happy Tuesday!  In sharp contrast to the blessedly cold winter, here is a fresh springy pair of nightstands for you.

A friend mentioned she had a couple of "ugly brown nightstands" she wanted to get rid of, sounds like just my thing...
Yes, they did happen to be brown, and ugly, but look at that curvy potential...

These got two coats of homemade chalk paint - color matched to Sherwin Williams color of the year, Coral Reef.  It is a bright beautiful coral, without being too pink.

A light distressing, and a coat of Fiddes and Sons clear wax.  The handles got a little refreshing with Rub n' Buff in Antique Gold.

I sanded the leather tops just like the rest of the piece and it took the paint just fine.  Why leather tops??

I was having a little trouble getting the true color to show, this is the best picture of the color, isn't it lovely?

Of course these would be fabulous in a little girls room, but wouldn't they also be super chic in a white space, a bright pop of color to jazz up a living room?

These two are available in the Roots & Wings Etsy Shop!

Blessings,
Jenni
