No. 73 Light Gray Chest of Drawers

Before

I got a little anxious and forgot to take pictures with the pulls on, but you get the idea.  It's orange oak, in good shape and with some great details, just in need of a makeover.

Ahh, much better.  Homemade chalk paint on this baby in light gray (this is the same color that would match half Paris Grey and half Old White). It is light, but a true gray, not too blue like some light grays can be.

Finished with a coat of Fiddes and Sons Clear Wax.  It really is my favorite wax right now.  It gives the best shine, and dries so quickly!

See now those great details just pop!

Love the hardware on this.  It's white ceramic with brass accents - from Hobby Lobby!
The top was stained with Java Gel by General Finishes and sealed with Poly-Acrylic.  Oak never looked so good.  So much better than orange, don't you think!!

This chest available in the shop here Roots & Wings Etsy Shop

Blessings!
Jenni
